Y6 Record Fund Raiser!

This year the Y6s chose to support Brainbow, a charity close to their hearts which has recently supported one of their own.  The Brainbow service is an integral part of the Neuro-Oncology service at Cambridge University Hospitals. It sees all children and young people previously and newly diagnosed with a brain tumour, under the care of the Neuro-Oncology service, in the East of England.

You can find out more about the charity at https://www.cuh.nhs.uk/our-services/childrens-services-paediatrics/childrens-services-a-z/brainbow-paediatrics/

The children set up stalls during the school's Open Afternoon selling a range of products including fruit kebabs, candy floss, popcorn, bookmarks and decorated notebooks.  They were absolutely thrilled to raise a record-breaking amount and to be able to donate over £1080 to the charity.

A very big thank you to all our families who supported their entrepreneurial endeavours.
