pupil & family support practitioner
Start: January 2026 (or sooner)
Salary: Scale 7, point 19 FTE £32,061 (Actual salary £23,214.63)
31.25 hrs a week (8.30am to 3.45pm each day with a 30 mins for lunch and some expected overtime)
39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days)
Permanent contract
We are seeking to appoint a Pupil and Family Support Practitioner to work as part of the school’s inclusion and pastoral team, upholding the school’s Trauma Perceptive Practice values of Hope, Connection, Belonging, Kindness and Compassion.
This post will support the school in all matters relating to pupil welfare, family support and signposting, behaviour management, safeguarding and child protection issues. There will therefore be extensive involvement with senior staff (including SLT) and with external agencies (including Social Care) as well as parents/carers.
This post would suit someone who has experience of social care or other family support teams or of working in schools.

midday ASSISTANT
Start: November 2025
Salary: Scale 1 £24,413 FTE (pro rata for hours worked - £3,448 basic pay)
38 weeks per year (term time only)
Permanent contract
Working hours: Monday to Friday 11:45 – 1.00pm
We are looking for an enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our wonderful lunchtime team to supervise and support our children during their lunch break.
